So I’m actually completely new to the COMMUNITY aspect of Forza. I started playing and painting with 3, but never online until just recently with Forza 5. With the push to Forza 6 I figured what the heck, I’ll give it a shot and share some of my creations.
Looking at the other posts in here I’m a bit overawed…but better to go for it than sit on the sidelines for fear of not making the cut.
Feel free to give me tips and pointers, I’m all about improving my work.
Also, I actually really enjoy modifying my existing work for new cars, so if you see something you like but want it on a different vehicle, feel free to send a request.

First up…the simple and easy…Herbie.
I’m totally a VW fanatic. Having owned a MKIV and MKV, and currently driving a 65 Beetle.
I’ve put this livery on the original as well as the MKI and MKII so far.
Then a modified livery from a Speedhunters feature car…which I’m also working on. Should be done sometime this week.
In the meantime, the MKV GTI version…
Finally some new liveries. Woot!
Two for the 1967 Brabham BT24, and one for the 1976 Mclaren M23.
Still working on the Speedhunters car I mentioned earlier…the real car has a crazy body kit, so I’m having to make do.
First the Brabham.
This is my version of the Gunston/Tingle BT24.
I’d say it is stylized.
To be closer to the original I’ll need to do a new Shell logo to match the correct one, and a Firestone with the checkered flags. The font for both names can use some tweaking as well, but that isn’t nearly as obvious as the two logos.
The McLaren M23
I designed an ELF livery based on Tyrrell cars from the same time period. I’m realizing that the older cars are a lot simpler, with fewer logos overall than the more modern cars we have today.
I like the Elf McLaren and the Gunston car is also quite nice indeed. I would avoid some of the in-game fonts though, it tends not to make the liveries look as accurate. Either way you have some nice designs and I can’t wait to see more.

I agree about the fonts. In this case…at least with the TEAM GUNSTON portion…it really isn’t far off from the few pictures I can find.
Having said that, I think making your own fonts and logos are the thing that sets the great paints apart from the okay paints. So, I’ll definitely be doing more work on these.
