yet another impossible challenge foisted upon us that was obviously never play tested. the placement of the ramp negates any chance of building up enough speed to complete this challenge. the hill before the ramp will send whatever car you are driving airborne before hiting the ramp, thus sapping any speed you built up on the road below. and before anyone chimes in with any snarky remarks like “git gud” answer me this: why is it that i watched THE ENTIRE LOBBY of players attempting this impossible challenge OVER AND OVER AGAIN to no avail? after 15 minutes of frustration i finally gave up on this steaming pile. yet another example of the developers’ incompetance.

It’s difficult, not impossible. You just need a smaller runup so the apex before the ramp doesn’t throw you completely off.

I must be stupid for making any effort here but…

I used the Rimac C2, started on the tarmac, tried accelerating the whole way first and ended up overshooting the jump entirely, rewind’ed and braked as I approached the crest before the jump, beat the target by a few ft.

I agree. Most of the playlist challenges are nearly too hard. Sometimes it makes me not want to play the game.

I was racing once and the cars were several levels below mine, yet they were faster. During a race, we all jumped a ramp, and the truck that was behind me shot up on top of me and slammed the bottom half of my truck through the ground, rendering it useless!!! I did not even try any other events after that happened…

Because they are incompetent at learning where to tap the brakes on that run up so it doesn’t happen instead of just getting in any old 998 car and mashing the gas button through the controller you’re pressing it so hard because that is apparently all the skill they have?

You probably won’t make it first time danger sign, but realizing its not the speed you need, its just aim and some speed (not all of it). You’ll be done in just few tries.

It’s not impossible. Otherwise they wouldn’t recycle it every season

You have to slow down slightly before the crest. It’s very counterintuitive because it’s so close to the ramp but otherwise you’ll never get it.

Use a car with the highest acceleration (especially between 125mph/200kmh - 161mph/260kmh) and you should be able to get it.

I used a fully tuned Hoonigan RS200 with offroad tyres and low aero. I think no aero would work even better. I should try that sometime.

stock lambo sesto FE, got 475ish first go, a couple more goes to hit 510ish

I know what you mean but my successful attempt involved neither braking nor letting go of RT, just gunned it and the bounce at the base of the ramp was fine

As other people pointed out, you have to realize what you’re doing wrong. And the whole lobby too if they don’t know any better.

Its weird how people blame something else when they can’t do it but give credit to themself when they can :blush:

What do you expect/want to get back in reply honestly? People just agreeing with you or people actually telling you the truth?

Rewind also helps tremendously

The PR stunts should be hard or else there is no reason for them.

Just start off closer to the jump and dont floor it at the top of the hill.

Im sure you can find a tune built for that jump

Step 1 figure what speed you need to have so you land before the jump,

Step 2 make sure you keep that speed and when you land before the jump, hit the gas hard and fly away

Step 3 done

Ps a good car also helps :blush:

my method
stock Lambo Sesto FE
started at the bend in the “white” road that is in line with the jump
floor it, no braking or letting go of RT at any point
very small adjustments to direction to avoid drift
liberal use of rewind to get the optimum trajectory
