When i make a my own custom track (self made custom route, not an existing one) do i have to test all laps before i can publish? I have a 10 lap endurance race and it takes 30 minutes to test. If i make an adjustment, even if i change the name, i have to test all 10 laps again before i can publish.
When you create your first track there is a small tutorial with a narrator. I heard the narrotor mentioning something about fast forwarding but i cannot find that option anywhere.

Unfortunately, yes. They ruined this part of the game. I loved making my own courses in FH4, but in FH5 it’s basically broken. In 4 I only needed to test one lap and never again. In 5 they botched it so that every time you set up a race using your route you not only have to test it again but for however many laps it is, which is a pointless waste of time. It wouldn’t be so bad if testing it counted as an actual race and rewarded you accordingly, but instead the game makes you run three, five, ten, or whatever number of laps with nothing to show for it but actually getting to publish it. It really should have worked like 4 but instead I won’t ever use this feature again.
I hate that after you have tested it, you cant go back and edit it.
I created ‘Horizon Festival Runway - Long’ share code 136 147 021. When creating, i got too close to the start / finish point so it ended my editing session and couldnt go back and edit where I placed some tyre barriers that the AI will crash into. They can fit through the gap but not all of them figure it out.
