Doing one lap around a circuit should be enough to verify that it’s driveable by the selected car, doing more than one is overkill in most cases.
While you can create the track and set it to one lap initially, complete the test and then edit the amount of laps and then publish without having to retest it, this option would be good as a default to one lap test as I have made tracks before and set to 1 lap and forgotten to change it before publishing. While you can just edit the creation, it would avoid this from happening which would be good.
Exactly what i thought, it saves a step that could lead to more time wasted down the road
I did an Event Lab recently hoping that it would qualify as the Daily Forzathon Challenge (big surprise, it didn’t) as there was only one single, solitary card showing on the map (at the Horizon Festival dragstrip).
Getting to the point, it was almost Goliath in length, and three laps. I completed it because, despite me thinking it would be much shorter, it was pretty good. Imagine having to test drive that - or any other similar or greater length event? Probably quicker to start over.
