Hi COM, anyone can share on info concerning the exclamation mark on laptimes ?
Am i right, when the signs of (reverse) come, that i was out of range, or touched something, crashed something out of the rulez, and this results on kinda „penalty“ which in this case is a exclamation mark on the track time, that does not count ?
Thanks in advance for ya reply
cheers n merry christmas
Hi there.
The warning symbol shows up when your lap has been invalidated.
Reasons for this include:
Driving your car outside of the acceptable track limits.
Making contact with walls or other cars.
Slipstreaming or being slipstreamed by other cars.
Invalidating the final sector of your previous lap.
Using Rewind.
Having the Friction Assist enabled.
Changing your assists mid-lap.
There is no penalty for having invalidated laps within a race, however if you look at the Leaderboards you will see that invalidated times are ranked lower than “clean” ones, even if they are faster.
