This competition has being specifically designed to be fair, no matter what your strength is in the Forza Community we have you covered!

There will be four elements to the competition, Hot Lapping, Photography, Tuning and Painting.

The entrant with the most points at the end of the competition will win a

Blizzard Mountain Expansion Code!

Your job is to take the 2014 Ford Fiesta ST, tune it, paint it, hotlap it and take the best picture you can of it then enter your details as requested below.

Photocomp Element

Information:

• Car: 2014 Ford Fiesta ST

• Location: Any

• Weather: Any

• Day/Night: Any

Rules:

• Amount: 1 Entry per person only

• Editing: No Photoshopping or modifying you image at all except for cropping.

• Size: Any Photo size allowed (Recommended to host via Flick at: 800x450px or even the full size as the forum resizes it)

• Must share it before the deadline

Hot Lap Element

Information:

• Track Choice: Byron Bay - East Suburbs Circuit

• Car: 2014 Ford Fiesta ST

• Class: A800

• Assists: Any are allowed

Rules:

• You can use Any A800 tune, It does NOT have to be the one you tuned.

• Your car must meet the requirements in the Information tab above.

• Laptimes must be posted between the start day of this thread and the deadline day above. (Previous LB times do not count)

Paint Element

• Car: 2014 Ford Fiesta ST

• Theme: Race

Rules:

• No ‘Ken Block’ style Paints

• Must share your Livery with PTG in the description

• Must have PTG logo (any) on car

• Must share it up before the deadline

• Please keep within the Forzamotorsport rules regards profanity & Adult image’s

Tuning Element

Information:

• Track Choice: Byron Bay - East Suburbs Circuit

• Car: 2014 Ford Fiesta ST

• Class: A800

• Drivetrain: FWD Only

Rules:

• Your car must meet the requirements in the Information tab above.

• Must share it up before the deadline

Voting & Winners

Each entrant will be required to enter all four elements.

HLC Times will be sorted into positions and given a score.

Tune’s will be driven by the same PTG Team Member at the designated track, quickest times will be sorted into positions and given a score.

Photo-Comp Shots will be voted on by PTG Team Members, sorted into positions and given a score.

Paint’s will be voted on by PTG Team Members, sorted into positions and given a score.

The entrant with the highest overall score wins.

I started work on this - Tuning Challenge, and hot Lap challenge. I have times visible on the Leaderboard and still working on the tune last night. I will give the prize if enough contestants to someone who doesn’t have BM - thought it would be nice to work on a non AWD drive car and test my chops at tuning — my paint well lets say I wont be scoring very high on that :slight_smile: - Carbon Black — like the “legendary” coughbullXXXX cough painters do but feel fairly confident in my abilities for the other three aspects of the contest.

Wow, a Good ol’ fashioned Tuning Comp!! If I may have one of the spots, I’d like to do what I can. Now when you say “no Ken Block” paints, are you referring to overly colorful and slightly obnoxious? So just a run of the mill, weekend warrior street racer type thing, right?

As far as the pic, I am embarrassingly bad with posting things. I’ve only been successful once in posting a pic. If it’s in my gallery is that alright? Or is there a spot to get a “uploading pics to the forums with a samsung for dummies” somewhere that can walk me through how to.

Pictures can be searched in game. Possible require specific description. That way for those challenged Dan can go find that way? Just thinking out loud
“PTG BlizzQuad” for instance

And truth be told I don’t know how to post a picture in forum anymore either from phone. I would just do it on discord.

I’ll support your competition. It’s been a while since I tuned and ran a FWD car. And never on H3 LOL. I also have every expansion for the game so will only be playing for the fun of it.

Tried a few different builds already and I also have a time on the board in my best build to date.

Because I have quite a bit on my plate running the HLCs, I decided to get my entry in early.

I’m afraid I’m not a photographer LOL.

Nice ride Moss! You do raise a good point, I also have all DLC paid for already. No worries on my end. For one, I doubt I’ll win and regardless, these are always fun no matter what.

Moss and I took two different paths to the tune. Looking at his stats. I’ve not got in his yet but I went HP. He has more grip or at least can handle double left and last turn carriying more speed. I still got some playing with my fiesta to do But I’m not sure how much more I can get on it. And it really needs descent throttle control haven’t decided if it’s better to rev high or short shift and run low revs. But it’s annoying to watch Moss’s fiesta get me on the last couple of turns, especially the last turn. Though my accel does catch him at the line so the car does run a bit faster elsewhere too if you can manage starting the car

Yes, I tried both options and the race tyre compound worked out fastest for me. I used the Rally engine and I’m not totally convinced with the gear ratios. I only used 5th and 6th gears on my PB lap LOL.

I’m not the driver either of you 2 are but I went the same route as Moss, after taking the power strategy first. I didn’t use the rally engine but still got 400 something hp. I chose the better tires and 300 something hp. With my hotlapping, that’s mostly my driving that I have to figure into. I don’t do justice to my cars and most likely don’t drive other’s tuned cars properly, lol. So that being said, I enjoy, but still have work to do on my car. At a low 52. something, I think, at the moment.

Been making a bit of improvement. Alignment changes have helped a bitwith keeping the rearsettled on some of the turns - translated to improved times

xDeaDxZeppLiNx and Pervasive, there is a Fiesta tune in my storefront if you feel like trying it for the timed part of this challenge. xDeaDxZeppLiNx it is about 1 second behind you on the Woodland Circuit so you should go faster as I still had traction control on and drive with auto gearing

It is running an aero package which is maxed on the front and mininised on the rear, brakig is set at 56% and 130%. If you want the full build, I’ll post it tomorrow.

I’m good, Rob. Why don’t you enter into the comp?
But just reading your setup, mine is fairly similar 433Hp (Max for the car) and I have close to max on front and very close to Minimum on the rear. Just tried min rear because it was working for the Woodland HLC but the rear like to slide out a bit too much for consistent last turn exits but I was running fairly similar times but the edge goes to higher alignment and a bit more rear aero for East Suburbs.

I’m in but paints not ready yet. Probably will get that done by the time when close to deadline.

Tune also not ready yet. 50.118 for now but I’ve found myself getting really close times with both lvl 0/lvl 1 restrictor for rally engine.

I’ve got my paint job done and shared. I’m at work at the moment, I’ll double check the filename when im back on the xbox. Pretty sure it’s MSS Blizz Comp, or something close. Should also be my only Fiesta paint.

I’m still working out my tune, consequently also my hotlapping. I’ll update once that’s all worked out along with my pic.
