Prototype, Indy and Formula 1 settings?

So I saw this back in FM4 and I seeing again now in open source tunes where the bump and rebound settings are reversed. So I gave it a try on a DW12 and I saw a difference in lap times but I wasn’t able to feel the fine tuning adjustments like I can on the street cars. So I have just a few questions I hope someone can help me getting pointed in the right direction.

  1. What cars are you using these setting on? Ex: Prototype Indy, Formula 1 and 70’ Formula 1?

  2. How are you setting the baseline for rebound and bump? Are you using the Weight bias?

  3. When making adjustments are you following the same rules as stated in the tuning guide?

Any help would be appreciated as I start diving into this alternate method of tuning. Thank you!

You can Ask in my threat.

I build on Open Source Tuning for you.
Is that a Start for you?

Thanks but that’s not what I’m seeking information on.

Ok.

But there you can see an change settings.

So I take it with the overwhelming amount of replies that nobody here tunes their prototypes or F1 cars wit high bump settings and low rebound.
