I got it in like 2 minutes heading westbound & doing a few rewinds to get the corner just right. I used the 2013 V12 Vantage S with a tune called “Forzathon 230.53”.
I unfortunately went through a bunch of other cars/tunes first but this is also how I got it. I get the frustration from others, I was feeling hopeless as well. Took a break, came back and downloaded someone else’s tune and was patient.
It is all about that corner, you need to be as smooth as possible through that corner coming out of it at 160+mph in order to hit 230 at the Trap (in the vantage).
If your sideways at all through that corner, or come in hot/outslow, your not going to get the speed you need.
I’m far the best tuner, first tried twice with my stock 812, didn’t work think i got about 208 mph, so went and slapped on more power, put racing suspension on it, widen the tracking and tyres, 4wd…tried again…first time 234 mph…boom done.
It’s quite simple. I, and others, are finding it difficult because we don’t own a Ferrari 812 Superfast and don’t have the opportunity to purchase one. This is totally unfair.
I have spent large amounts of time, effort and credits trying to do this challenge without success and refuse to spend any more time and money on it. In any event the rewards for completing the challenge are nonsensical.
I thought I could count on Playground Games making a good game but I was wrong. The unfairness of some of the challenges and the ridiculous wheelspins where, if we are unlucky, we get large amounts of worthless clothing and duplicate cars are fast steering me to the conclusion that I should never buy another Forza game as long as I live. Goodbye.
Really…over 10 Forzathon points???
Now I realize this will also affect your bonus for 7 daily and 1 week challenge but even if it took all of the bonus you still get the non bonus points and if you play some live Forzathon events you can make up the difference pretty quick I think.
I tried this some dozen times yesterday and I’m still 3kph short of 370. But wait, you can do this using any Super GT car ? I’m using the car in the picture and thought you have to.
FYI: I built a tune for the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta call “Princes Street Speed Trap”… The car can do a top speed of 270MPH… I started from the “Drift Zone” at the south-west of the Speed Trap.
Got high 220+ until I finally hit 231 plus change…
