Well I’m now 2 stars it goes to 2 stars and resets to 0 at lvl 300, so what I think happens is my original guess every new star goes up 100 levels each time so next will be lvl 400 for 3 stars, lvl 500 for 4 stars, lvl 600 for 5 stars and so on.
now how long did it take me I hear you ask well…
time played: in game time 3 days 23h 20m (at least 90% of that is racing/grinding for levels)
Nothing special happens at 2 star if anyone one is wondering all you get is to look like a lvl 1 noob again hahaha
Was it worth it? Not really as there is no reason other than a star and a number plus bragging rights for something that most people don’t even know what the stars are for.
would I recommend doing it? Nope I would say just play the game your way and have fun with it, I am from now on 
To finish of I want to say I am a little disappointed in this system for one it takes way too long If grinding levels is something you like to do like myself. I much preferred the horizon 3 level system where it just goes up numbers rather than a reset, and last there isn’t anything major to show or any rewards for your time all we get is a star and number that’s it
if you prestige do you get super wheel spins or regular wheel spins
You get a Super Wheelspin for the prestige level itself. But regular Wheelspins for all the levels in between.
If you mean each time you level up after a prestige it’s just the same so just normal wheel spins
I’m prestige 3. 0 star 200 levels, 1 star 300, but I forgot how many levels it is to 3. Lol it’s 300 or 400? I think? Lol

My guess is that prestige will go up every 200 levels until 5 then the star will go platinum
200x5=1000 like H3
It’s already confirmed that the range between prestige levels increases by 100 with each new prestige.
I read a post on reddit from someone with Prestige 8 who stated it is actually:
0 to 200 Prestige 1
0 t0 300 Presige 2
0 to 400 Prestige 3
0 to 500 Prestige 4
0 to 600 Prestige 5
0 to 750 Prestige 6
0 to 850 Prestige 7
0 to 950 Prestige 8
Someone help me was playing my forza horizon 4 normally and when I got to Prestige 200 I got the star but my level was reset to Prestige 1, someone please help me, is this normal?
Did you prestige before? Was this your first time prestiging?
It is normal. 1* level 1 is the same as level 201.
I loved the leveling up system from FH3 more
I don’t mind current system, but the implementation is horrible.
It’s not easily readable and understandable what that number and star mean. At first I thought that somehow it was part of the gamertag. And usability aside, it’s not a very rewarding system. If I have 200 levels and reset to 0, please give me something more flashy than a number and a small star.
Custom borders to the name/numbers, some flair, something! Anything really. Right now it just reads as debug text.
I kind of like this better. In the previous games, once you got to level 999, you became “Star” level. So, if during multiplayer, you saw a “Star” Level player, all you knew was they reached 999… but you didn’t really know how “seasoned” they were. Now, it appears you can go well beyond level 999.
One odd thing in FH3… Usually when I saw a “Star” Player, I would think they were pretty “seasoned”. So it was really surprising (disappointing) to see a “Star” Player who was/is a griefer.
Hell I thought I was doing something by almost being to level 500 or 2 stars but I see some people have 3 and 4 stars. I dont have that much time on my hands to play lol

You reach level 200, you get a star, then you get a star and a number 1 when you reach 201, and so on.
