Completed update earlier, now every third race I’m disconnected from the lobby while racing. This didn’t as happen as frequent before the update. What gives???
I’m having the same issues here, never had this before the update. Kicked me out at the first 5 seconds the last 2 races I tried, and it’s happening to everyone else in game chat. I’m in the class B professional league.
Can you guys share the specific message you get when you get disconnected or “kicked”?
Just did it again. Cuts to loading screen, says ‘Disconnected from lobby’ in the upper right corner. Then message in the middle of the screen says ‘You have been disconnected from the session’. From people I’ve been talking to over the mic it disconnects the entire lobby.

It says disconnected from lobby and then you have been disconnected from the session, this video shows what happens.
I do have the nxoe but my son doesn’t and he gets the same thing.
The Message is very specific " You have been disconnected from this session " and you’re knocked back to the main menu page.
Same here…not kicked, disconnected.
It says disconnected in the top right and I think the message is ‘You have been disconnected from the server’. I’ll double check it when it happens again.

The “fix” if you’re in the NXOE beta is to do a hard reset of the console:
1 – from the Dashboard, out of all games, hold the X button on the front of the console down until it shuts the system down.
2 – Disconnect the external power from the wall plug (or at least disconnect the wall-side connector on the power pack itself.
3 – WAIT until all power drains from the external power pack (no light, either white or dull orange showing on the pack).
4 – Reconnect the power supply to the electrical outlet.
5 – Restart the console in the usual manner, i.e., either with the controller or a short push on the X button on the front of the X1.
6 – WAIT until the console self-checks and fully boots to the Dashboard before attempting anything.
If you don’t disconnect the external power pack and let the power completely drain out, the system is still retaining “old” stuff and not resetting. When you restart, you should see the download box near the bottom of the dashboard. Do NOTHING else on the X1 until the complete update is downloaded. It should automatically start downloading and may give you a “Ready to play” message. Don’t until completion.

I’ll try that, but it seems to disconnect the entire lobby, not just me. I run into the same people in the next lobby I join that got booted from the last one.
Edit: Seems to have fixed itself, didn’t do the reset yet, but I will for good measure.

Just about every third race after about 5 seconds - Disconnected from server.
By the sounds of the chat it was the entire lobby…
Done a hard reset just in case, made no difference.

Happened to me twice tonight now, most recently i was passing a car to enter 2nd place in a league race on the final lap. Not happy. I am on the new dashboard.

I had it happen to me like 3 or 4 times tonight while trying to run in leagues and S and R lobbies, I still have my old dashboard as well.
Same for me. Last night every 3rd match. I was racing about 5 seconds and got the message ‘Disconnected from lobby’. Also still on the old dashboard.
So far today, 6 lobbies 4 disconnections. Oh and multiplayer is now not working, looks like today is going to be a slow day for online racing.
I was disconnected from drag racing 3 times last night while waiting for the next heat/drag race. It usually takes a few seconds between races but I would get disconnected instead. I only played for about 30 minutes and I am not on the new dashboard.
