I am starting to see this more often now, not only during race starts but occasionally midway through a race as well.
My Internet performance and connection settings haven’t changed since October but the disconnects are becoming more frequent both in the Hoppers and the Leagues. When disconnected in a League, more often than not the entire lobby is disconnected, something we all comment on when we re-join.
I am guessing the issue is the Azure servers dropping their connection to the Hopper/League momentarily, which is enough to boot an entire room. It started showing up after the November patch but has been more prevalent for me personally since yesterday’s update.
A Turn 10 member in one of the League Hoppers mentioned that it may have to do with people loading tunes at the last minute or in the case of Leagues, checking the leaderboard. In any case this fix is important for me personally since I do 90% of my racing online.
Exactly this ^^^ Increase in disconnects during any time of the race. Except one race where we were 17 in the league lobby and all except myself got disconnected. All their cars stayed on the starting line and I finished first. Tough race. LOL… Last two nights I cant get into online multiplayer though, so even disconnects would have been welcome if I could just race online. Wait, did I just say that ?
