This is not the first time we’ve experienced glossy unfinished and bugged black textures in cars’ interiors in the “all-new” FM. Glossy headliners, glossy lower interior textures and glossy door sills, you name it FM got it!
However, it is a real shame when you have a super inaccurate, outdated and disproportionate car model yet again with the 2007 Porsche 911 GT3. So many beloved cars are truly neglected in this game!
Aside from the skyline and the physics (FAR from perfect when you see a Valkyrie AMR super bouncing its wheels when driving like no downforce) - what does this title bring to the table?
I request you to please rescan, remodel and fix the 2007 911 GT3 for the sake of FORZA fans who remain hopeful.
As a 997 911 fan, looking at this thing hurts me on a personal level. Body line is ruined, entire front end is ruined, rear end is broken, not a single thing on the car is actually correct. They had entire 12 (TWELVE) years to get a random 997 911 and scan it, they even had the 997.2 model which they could use to model a fairly accurate (but still not spot-on) 997.1, but they chose to do neither. This is the Vauxhall Monaro situation all over again, except they had more time and a less accurate model to work on.
Can people finally stop defending this? It’s a display of the myriad of things wrong with Forza Motorsport…
I don’t know the differences between this model and the real-life one. We may have haven’t had this car in Forza since FM4, but I don’t know what’s wrong with this.
Aside from the 997 GT3 having a bad model, it’s very worthless that they reused the same old X360 model over again for the new FM. Even if it was last seen in FM4, they just retextured it. It was never remodeled, and people would claim that it WAS remodeled, but that’s NOT the case.
I even found out that someone showed the proof of how bad the 996 GT3’s model in Forza games actually is, I can notice that the rear end of the car in-game is flat. But sadly, it’s under the “Fixed car models” discussion by @MNPurple_V, which was later unfortunately taken down by ManteoMax.
GT7 had the same 996 Porsche GT3 but they had the most accurate model ever, even if Porsche is new to Gran Turismo world since GT Sport. They don’t have the 997 but I know it’ll be extremely accurate when it’s added there.
