In February 2006, Porsche unveiled the second generation of GT3,the [997]commonly now known as the 997.1 GT3. In addition to a new 415 PS (305 kW) 3.6 litre [flat-six] engine, the vehicle featured “zero lift” aerodynamics, meaning the car creates only aerodynamic downforce and no grip-diminishing “lift” upwards and away from the road surface. The GT3 made use of a modified, track oriented version of Porsche’s active PASM suspension making it the first of Porsche’s RS or GT3 versions to feature an electronically adjustable suspension system. Also available was a navigation system and Porsche’s “sports chrono” gauge package.

Probably the best way to have as much variety as possible with the 997.2 range would be to add the Carrera S/4S as a base and give it the bodykits and wheels from the Carrera GTS and GT3.

The Turbo S would be a cool addition as well.

Seven models from one generation of Porsche 911 represented in Forza - this thread shows the power of this series as virtual car encyclopedia perhaps better than anything else  (on the other hand: isn’t that too many different cars for one voting? ;] )

And despite the fact we already have three 997.2 models in FH5 (and two in FM7), I’d like to see one of 997.1 variants back in future Forza as well - preferably the “basic” GT3 or Turbo

I would love to see the 997 Speedster in the game, as it’s kind of a convertible counterpart to the Sport Classic and also similar to the 991.2 Speedster

Bring back the 997 911 Turbo and standard GT3, freshly scanned of course

The 911 GT3 could recieve this RWB bodykit as its customization, you really shouldn’t give it to any 997.2 911

This 911 GT3 (997) was brought back in FM8 after not being in any Forza since FM4, why not put it in FH5 as well?

2008 Porsche 911 GT2 (FM2-FM3)
2007 Porsche 911 GT3 RS (FM2-FM4)
2007 Porsche 911 GT3 (FM2-FM4, FM8)
2007 Porsche 911 Turbo (FM2-FM4)

Where is the Speedster and Targa and Carrera S how can you forget these

These cars are 991, not 997.

No they also made 997 Targas Speedsters and Carrera S´s

Oh but I rather the ones who were in FM4 and FM8.

Those are too overrated I want some lesser known 911s
