Recently I had gotten back into forza and was getting well over 120fps on a mix of ultra and extreme settings and then randomly one day the game became a stuttery mess along with 30-40fps max despite me not changing anything.
I made sure all my drivers were up to date and that the game was up to date. Yet the problem still persists.
Could anyone shed some light on the matter?
Help would be much appreciated.

cpu: i7-9700k @5Ghz
Gpu: Nvidia rtx 2080super
Ram: 32Gb @3400Mhz
Recently read about someone having to restart the game to stop the fps from dropping. Symptom looks very close. I doubt you’ll find some solution here for now but I would recommend you to log a ticket as forum is not read by anyone except other players ( who may help if so finds a fix )

Having your drivers up to date might not necessarily help, because nvidia have been known to break FH4 with some driver revisions and older versions may work better. I can’t say what your issue is but I am using an nvidia card and am not having any performance problems.
