I’m dissatisfied with the amount of progress, or lack thereof, towards bringing back the past tours and prize cars.
I’m dissatisfied with the amount of communication, or lack thereof, about the status of the changes detailled last August, seemingly postponed without warning or much of an explanation.
I’m dissatisfied with the amount of communication, or lack thereof, about future updates and features, particularly regarding the quarterly “Messages to the community” that seem to have fallen to the wayside, against without any warning or explanation.
I’m dissatisfied that paid DLC seemingly took precedence over the above.

I think featured Porsche series was fun but I maybe would have hoped more classes available, C, B, A, S rotation for example. 20 minute multi-class ABCS are great due to being more balanced between tyre types than short races but I also like the multi-class racing aspect of it a lot. Surprisingly clean races too with S safety rating.

I want to see more QoL features added into the game.
For example: Qualification with AI cars (free play) or bringing challenge the grid from builders cup to free play.

I agree, but it’s clear to me that Turn 10 doesn’t value those of us who prefer single player content. Multiplayer is their focus.
Look at the FOMO content… unlock the 2022 Acura NSX Type S by completing the 20th Anniversary Tour in Career or complete 20 races in 20th Anniversary Series in Featured Multiplayer. Those who play multiplayer can complete 20 races any time. Meanwhile, those of us who play single player have to wait for each event to unlock, one week at a time. As if FOMO wasn’t terrible enough.

Hi @AMXMatt . You can get the Acura NSX Type S any time, because the 20th anniversary tour is permanent.

To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of Forza Motorsport, we’ve created a special ‘20th Anniversary Tour’ that will be permanently available in Career mode.

You’re right. In this case, it’s not truly FOMO. The 20th Anniversary Tour is permanent, which I appreciate, but the final event of this tour doesn’t unlock until June 18. There is no way to get this car any sooner without playing multiplayer.
This is the way Turn 10 does all the FOMO events though. The featured tour unlocks one event per week so those who choose not to participate in multiplayer races must wait until the last week of the tour to unlock the prize car while those who do multiplayer races can unlock the prize car as quickly as they can do a bunch of multiplayer races.
It feels a little like Turn 10 wants to punish players that don’t play the game the way Turn 10 wants us to play the game.

Fully agree FOMO is bad, however everybody has to wait for Acura, regardless if playing solo or multiplayer…

I was unaware. Thanks. So, even if players complete the required 20 multiplayer races, it won’t unlock until the last week of the tour?

Yes, exactly. But of course you can reach the requirements much sooner and any time you want doing MP races.

I wish we had that option for single player unlock. I’m sure at some point I will complete every event except the last week, then life will get in the way when that last event finally unlocks and I will never be able to get that particular car because Turn 10 decided FOMO was a good idea and not player hostile at all.

Always happy when there’s a themed multiclass hopper in the rotation. I spent most of my time in the Porsche Motorsport Series for that month.

:megaphone: Question for the Forza Motorsport Community
Hi everyone! I’m setting up private lobbies in Forza Touring Cars (latest Forza Motorsport) and I’m trying to figure out how to balance the cars so everyone is on the same level.

In previous versions, some cars had specific upgrades or balance adjustments.
:right_arrow: How does it work now? Is there an automatic or manual BOP (Balance of Performance)?
:right_arrow: Do I need to manually tune each car, or is there a global setting?
:right_arrow: What do you all do to keep races fair in private matches?

Thanks in advance for any help or tips! :raising_hands:

Just still waiting on Freeplay content.

It probably is FOMO. My guess is that after the end of the timing of the event, the car will go away if you haven’t completed the event. The event will stay, the car won’t. Just a guess.

But it would be really nice of T10 if they let races from both events count towards your total race tally. Such as if you did 10 in the SP event and 10 in MP. 20 races total and you get to claim the car. Seems fair to me. It’s the way I would do it if I ran the show.

Well, actually, if I ran the show, the events would stay active and the cars would remain available until a person finishes the event. At their own leisure. FOMO be gone for good under my leadership.

now that i have played over 1,000hr i don’t like the tyre model it’s slippery it over steers and under steers all over the place its unrealistic tyres don’t behave like that in the real world its far from simulation way to simplified it feels to artificial this is why you should of gone with real tyre data from a
a tyre brand like you did in FM4 the tyre model you went this is worse than FM7’s tyre model they were not slippery just unstable & not realistic tyres have 4 points of contact not 8 it’s more noticeable on controller but on certain cars i don’t get these problems for some reason

i love this idea i agree with you

My major complaint about this update is the in-game performance of many of the added cars.
An update centred around one of the car brands with the greatest motorsport history and brand identity as one of the best sports car manufacturers, and a majority of the cars added deliver below average to poor performance.

The 961 and 924 GTP are dreadful, the Turbo S one of the worst modern Porsche, the non-BoP 911 R the worst of the 4 911 GT3 race cars.

A little more effort in testing and adjusting in-game performance beforehand would be highly appreciated.

please remove the locking of single player Racing or reduce the amount of time to wait considerably T10
