Definitely prefer circuits. They allow better customization of race length. And the natural repetition makes them more convenient to learn.

i guess i prefer circuit tracks as that’s what i usually test my tunes on. after i’m satisfied i have the car dialed in then i’l try a sprint and after that a street race.

I prefer variety

If it’s a seasonal task, sprint, because those usually take less time.

I’m more for sprint because it feels like a journey or a road trip, although being able to have a single lap be 40 miles definitely helps. Such an experience can’t be found so easily in a game like Forza Motorsport.

That said, I’ve primarily made circuit races because you can easily make longer drives as Ti_Hsien mentioned and slapping down 40 miles’ worth of props gets to be a bit of a pain.

All other things being equal, I prefer a circuit over a sprint. In the PvP I play with my clan, best lap is considered just as important as overall win, so we tend to stick to circuits.

However I’m usually hitting up the sprints when playing solo. Also street racing is my favourite race type, and it turns out (much to my disappointment) that you can’t make a street racing circuit.

I’ve always preferred sprints because they’re usually faster and wider tracks that needed less time to complete. But I actually find one particular circuit track from this season, the GT Legend (A800), to be quite enjoyable for its technical variety.

I find longer races easier to win, so circuit.

My results online say that I prefer sprints.

Circuits, and way more than three laps to defeat bothersome drivatars and get more worthwhile rewards.

I might not mind sprints if it wasn’t for those irritating occasions when the drivatars have the warp drive from the Starship Enterprise as an engine swap, and the roads – as far as they’re concerned – are just hyperspace bypasses.
