As someone who prefers slower cars, I’m finding it very tiresome that lower class hoppers give us almost exclusively “shorter” iterations of tracks like the Road America oval.
The full versions of Suzuka, VIR, Mid Ohio, Mugello, Nurburgring GP, etc will play just fine in C or D classes. Please give us a more varied selection including full tracks.
Should full and longer circuits be added to the rotation in low class hoppers?
If Turn 10 need lap counts for every class, I’ve done a bunch of math to get them for every track/class combo for any desired length of race time. Just ask.
This needs addressing big time. I’d do more multiplayer in the lower classes if the longer tracks were put in rotation more often. D, C & B were always my go to classes on Forza’s of old but even then it’s been an issue since next gen arrived & public custom lobbies were binned after FM4.
I long to run these cars on the Ring, Mugello, Road America & Sebring full circuits but you never see them.
I’m glad to see players appreciating slower classes. A lot of people seem to assume only high-end cars can be fun or provide great racing. This isn’t true at all. Even in real life I’ve often found slower classes providing the best racing. For example, BTCC can’t go anywhere near as fast as F1 or WEC cars, but they can be very entertaining. At local dirt tracks the sprints and late models often disappoint while 4-cylinders can provide heated battles. Sometimes really fast cars are just too fast for good racing, like F1 in Monaco.
Agree so much with this. Like they think slower cars are tied with shorter tracks?
Even on the flip side, let the faster cars run on the shorter tracks as well. Literally no reason not to offer more variety within each class.
I think (for example) Road America short would be a riot in A and S class or even the short Watkins Glen but it never happens. Also love Le Mans but never get to run it in the lower classes which is a big miss.
Make the poll… I’m sure most would vote in favor of this.
Totally agree the lower classes need longer tracks and races.
I find I prefer the Multi-class lobbies just for the longer races and the track variety, only the competition is not the same as a single class lobby.
Fully support that.
Including more long races in lower classes would as well mix up which cars are strong and help freshen up the competition.
Lack of variety is further increased by events and conditions mostly unchanged since launch.
As does repetition of old spec series and narrow car group selection in events like the endurance races.
For an live event game I would expect bit more emphasis on variation and variety of events, less repetitiveness only one year after start.
Myself I see no valid reason to not want something that is currently available in game if it adds to the experience. You 're not taking anything away, just adding a more varied rotation.
I think some just like to go against the grain for the sake of it.
Some of the older titles used to have 1 lap Nordschleife races, those were fun.
I can see how having 3 Qualifying Laps would make longer routes a bit of a pain, but with the current cadence of Short races in multiplayer you barely get a single lap on a “normal” track anyway if you matchmake from race to race.
Yet again, this is one of those “Custom Public Lobbies would solve this demand if they existed” situations.
