I completed the donut media Hi Low series which is 12 points for both 24 combined but I didn’t get any and says I didn’t complete it in the festival playlist

How many total stars did you get on each? I thought that the points on the playlist were based on the stars attained at least in the past. Haven’t gotten into this one yet.
Same here and 3 starred every part of the 2 stories. It’s not that it’s not awarding any points, but very few. I completed the weekly challenge. All 3 PR stunts. One seasonal championship. Both monthly rivals. Got a total of 25 pts. Excuse me?

With the monthly stuff, it spreads the points throughout all 4 months so if I did the gt black series rival, it’ll give me a point each week to equal the 4 points it gives

Tbh that sounds like how it works. Each story is a max of 3 points per season. Each rival is worth 1 point per season.
So 5 for the weekly, 6 for the three stunts, 5 for a championship, 2 for rivals and 6 for the stories is 24. Maybe you did the daily too?
They used to have the monthly rivals at 4 points per season but a series before they added the second rivals, they said “it was a mistake and should have always been 4 points spread over the series”
I actually had to look it up because I wasn’t sure and that was how the monthly challenges worked

Yeah it’s not clear in game and when we get 5 points for a championship as it’s advertised and the rivals doesn’t work the same or the story doesn’t work the same it looks like an error.

Yes. Its based on how many stars. I got max stars on each , but I still couldnt get 24 points. I dont know why. It only gave me 6.
As stated in the seasonal overview thread, Monthly Events in the Festival Playlist apply the total points (12 per Story) to the Series total (out of 304), but only 1/4th the points (3 per Story) to each Season total.
We need to clarify to determine if this is a bug: after achieving 3 stars on all chapters, did you still receive zero points? or some points per the calculation above?

I was playing on a XBOX SERIES X, But I am pretty sure I got 3 instead of 12 points for each.
And yes, I achieved 6 points for the Donut Media Stories.
i think maybe 3 points, for sure not 12 points either low or high complition . 
The points from the playlist are all split evenly into the 4 seasons so that’s why you get 3 for completing the story
Correct, but I now got the points but I didn’t get the 3 per season for both, I got the 3 points for hi but only 1 for low

Ok, so if you tab forward to the next season it should show 8 points, 1 point for each rivals complete and 3 points for each story complete with the 18 stars. It sounds like you’ve completed the rivals but perhaps I’m assuming that. Both stories should be gold and both rivals should be gold. If it’s not the case and you have restarted and ensured the game isn’t in quick resume, I would post screenshots and have Max advise. I’d also go to each of the stories on the map and check the stars for each chapter.
If I am supposed to have 8 points for all seasons then I did get all points and must’ve just did the math wrong with how many I was supposed to have
