So, I wasn’t really satisfied with the new Spectraflame finishes they added to FH5. While I appreciate that they finally added a new finish type, the implementation really doesn’t capture the metallic reflection and sheen of translucent candy color over a polished metal surface. It looks more like a glittery metalflake, like you see on dune buggies or speed boats. I tried emulating Spectraflame using semi-transparent vinyl over tinted polished aluminum to fuzz the reflections. Not sure this is the best approach, but I think they are more satisfying than the in-game implementations:
