Please ban these cars!

Hello everybody,

I’ve been really enjoying the A class Breakout Hopper. I first of all wanna thank Turn 10 Studios for adding that into the game. I hope to see this for every class in the future.

But when I say I’ve been enjoying the A class hopper, I mean I’ve been enjoying it for only half the races. Why you ask me? Because childish pricks like to get into the Mercedes-Benz Truck or the Cadillac Limo and wreck and block people! Please I’m begging you, Turn 10, ban these two vehicles from multiplayer or give them both their own hopper. Or perhaps make lapped cars (+ stalled cars on the grid) ghosted. Preferably both, but I’ll be satisfied with either one of these solutions.

Thank you.

Shings like this is why I do not play multiplayer. Ever.

That’s why I stick to single player. I tried many years ago with Gran Turismo and later with Forza. Same rubbish. Dealing with people (children) driving the wrong way, racing dirty, just sitting there for nearly an hour doing nothing…

It’s a shame, because I like all cars, and even doing clean races in the limo, or the truck would be fun.

Exactly why these vehicles should never have made it into a Motorsports game in the first place.

Theres no reason why racing trucks shouldn’t be included in a Motorsport title, they should just be kept in their given discipline. My issue lies with the inclusion of Limo’s, Hummer’s and the like. Personally things like the Titan Concept have no place in a circuit based racing game either. I see no problem including them in Horizon, they belong there but here? In my opinion not never. For a motorsport semi sim we have too few full race spec models, I mean they’ve taken away all but one Super GT/JGTC car aswell as for example the 911 GT3 Cup cars and replaced them with things like the Ariel Nomad monstrosity aswell as the aformentioned not remotely motorsport related garbage. I mean what do the devs think the ‘mummy I want’ generation of players are gonna do with a chuffin limo when they spit out their dummy coz they cant beat you in your well tuned M3. It seems unfortunately that the FM series is constantly being pushed away from the more mature player with settings that now pretty much enable a toddler to play.

The racing truck has its place in motorsports, just maybe not among other cars. The limo, not so much.

Well, the truck is part of a Motorsport series, so your argument is null and void.

DAMN those folks at T10 putting a Motorsport vehicle in a Motorsport game! Let’s all get the pitch forks and chase them out of the city.

I’ve seen a few clean people in those cars, but not many. If you are patient and pick your moment right, wreckers in those cars are easy to deal with.

I don’t show up to “deal with” the 'for the lulz" crowd. I show up to race.

The limo is more fun to race around the tracks than any of the Ferraris and Porsches. They should totally give it a wide body kit. But I could see how it’d be easier to abuse in multiplayer.

Can’t the Hummer reach A class, too?

I for one really like the truck BUT it really does need it’s own Hopper.

I am dumbfounded to see that vehicles banned from multiplayer in FM6 are back in with this latest game!! One can only assume that T10 have indulged in intellectual barrel-scraping when they developed this game. Shameful.

Ya it’s crazy time! How do you fix it in the previous game, then completely forget about it in the next?!?

This is why I don’t do multiplayer. Also, this is why we can’t have nice things. I wouldn’t mind playing multiplayer, but the mentality of the minority spoil it for the majority. I tried multiplayer several times, and just ended up rage quitting. I don’t have the necessary patience to deal with idiots, so my strategy is just to avoid them. I don’t enjoy being rammed, bashed, flipped, and generally not allowed to race properly in peace, so I stay out of MP full stop.

It’s really disappointing to see Turn 10 make little effort to curb that type of behaviour in multiplayer.

Really you think so humm dose that mean I should not race in MP the way I do in Career mode or in Freeplay where you have to beat your way to the finish line is that not how we should play but that is the only way to win is it not Monkey see Monkey Do and is most likey the reason I adviod MP⛔ Heres hopeing Forzathon stays well clear of any and all MP events.

If you want balanced cars, you need Homologation.

The Breakout Hopper isn’t really meant to be balanced as you can drive whatever you want.

You can’t have both without re-working the entire philosophy and calculation methods behind the PI system.

As for cars being used for unsportsmanlike purposes, it’s not the cars that are the problem, it’s the people driving them. If one wanted to, they could make your life a living hell with an Isetta. Banning cars is a patchwork option that doesn’t solve the fundamental problem: some people just want to hit you no matter what.

As PJ said, it isn’t the car that’s the problem, it’s the drivers. Ban the truck and limo and they will find something else to wreck/block/troll people with instead. Watch the Youtube videos on FM7 multiplayer, you will see MANY other cars besides the truck and limo that people use to get ahead at all costs.

Ban the wreckers. Not the cars. Limo is competitive and one of the best A Class cars in the right hands. Me and other talented friends I play with can get podiums in the limo. The truck isn’t competitive and is most likely used to wreck others.
