Player gets 100K XP just for driving to online event. How?

I’ve been in a few online sessions recently and when we all drive to the first event, sometimes a player scores 80K to 100K XP BEFORE the first race.
They have effectively won the championship straight away.
How do they manage this. Glitch/cheat/skill???

Also the player could be driving a Horizon Edition car…that gives them double the XP!

Horizon edition XP cars were nullified for online very early after release so it’s not possible

Or drifting the runway. Get to a 100k xp skill chain then stop and you get 10k xp. Repeat until the timer runs out.

There is no way to earn 100k XP within five minutes. It’s always a Forzathon reward. However those should not influence XP championships like XP cars.

It’s a Glitch, it is not always the first race and it is rarely with a HE car. I’ve seen as many as 3 people do it in a championship where they all have 200-300K points. I’ve kept a skill chain going for the entire trip to next even and only ended up with 10K championship XP. I saw somebody today get 40K XP and it was only 500 yds 15 seconds to the next event. It seems more and more people are discovering it, but NOT publishing it so Horizon doesn’t " fix" it.

If it’s happening between Fri and Sun then it’s probably due to them completing a Forzathon challenge…

I saw this happen during a game of King today only to remember there were two XP rewards for Forzathon… they managed to get both done. It is NOT a bug.
