I got no internet, it broken. Football game is a blowout. I want to play Forza Horizon 4. So I load the game. Udpate failed. I press ok. It the only button. Now Xbox live window appears,. You not connected to the internet. Buttons are try again or cancel. I click cancel as my RCN internet is broken. Now Forza says sign-in needed. You may not proceed without being singed in to a profile. I click ok process now in a loop.

So Micro$oft why I can’t I play it offline.

All games require an initial connection to the internet to download updates before they are playable
Been this way since xbox one was released

I played it yesterday online. So that’s doesn’t help.

Set your console to play offline in the console settings
