A little while ago I posted some tunes up that didn’t really get much response, I wondered why, so I went and found myself some help and advice. It quickly became apparent that my tunes, although I could drive them reasonably quickly, no one else could. So the long hard slog of finding help with set ups and some quick drivers to try them out. One car stood out from all my tunes, it was quick but needed more fine tuning, enter the guys at PTG. With their help and constant pushing I have ended up with a quick tune on the '65 Mini Cooper.
It was built with hotlapping in mind and all started off with running round Prague short reverse, where PTG Coops and myself were hitting top 100 times which eventually ended up in the top 50

After Prague I went out to see where else it would run quick and found that Yas Marina was another track it did well

A little while ago PTG Greeksniper offered to run some tunes that the novice tuners had been creating over at PTG forums, so I took that opportunity to get a known fast driver to test the Mini, with his advice and feedback some more fine tuning I am now at a final tune (maybe). TN Eagle then posted his twitch video review, another opportunity to have a fast guy run the car, so into the lions den it goes. The track of choice was Long Beach East. This proved to be a good choice as now, today this tune holds 5 of the top 20 places on Long Beach East and is my first official top 10 tune.

Finally a suprise to me, Greek ran the car at Bathurst, not a track I would expect to see it do well, I was wrong in my thoughts…

My thanks go out to all the guys that ran the car, everyone over at PTG and especially to PTG Greeksniper for laying down some blistering laptimes, I didn’t think it would be this quick.
If you want to give it a try the car is shared under my GT:PID1969 and has the filename D v2. There is also a simple paint that I have done in various colour schemes that is shared if you want to pick that up. Any feedback is welcome and just a little warning, it does understeer a little.
