Pick Car timer needs fixed for online!

As bad as everything about online in this game is it is extra frustrating when getting jammed into an adventure you are often only given a second or 2 to pick a car. I have even had a few times where I am just auto placed into a rental. There is no need for the rush as you typically have to wait 3+ minutes for the event running to end so you either sit and wait in a crap car you don’t want to drive or you drop and try again. It just happened to me 4 times in a row and quit for the forseeable future. Just too frustrating.

The enter timer needs to be extended aggressively and immediately.

I thought it was just me. Its happened to me a couple of times recently when I went to pick a car and the timer is up before I can pick something but its not enough to put me off online racing its one of my favourite parts of the game that and making liverys for cars.

It’s a joke.

60 seconds to vote on the next race and only 30 seconds to pick a car from the hundreds in your garage.

I would beg them to extend the timer but I’ve been there and done that in FH2.

Actually I think there is plenty of time when you re there for the vote. I would kill for 30 seconds when getting jammed into your first in progress road trip though. You often have only 5 seconds or less and sometimes none at all.

Almost everything about online sucks in this game and this just adds to the frustration. Maybe instead of jamming you into an “in progress” all joining players join the next vote instead. That has its drawbacks too but it is better than the way it is now.

The OP is not talking about the 30 sevond timer.

The solution there is to allow us to group our garage into more groups than just favorites.

Yup. Being able to have favorites for pavement, dirt, CC etc. would help. But that doesn’t matter if the timer is up before you can even click on sort favorites.

It’s completely dependent on what time of the break between races you joined. When you start a new adventure you always have the full time to choose. If you join an adventure and the next race is about to start in 5 seconds you get 5 seconds to choose

Not true. It has to do with how long you sit there syncing with the other drivers. I have often just been placed into a rental with no choice at all and then sat there for 2 or 3 minutes waiting for whatever event to end.

What I have found it you have to join as soon as that press X to join pops up because I believe that is when the timer starts. If you let it run down at all before you press to join you will have even less time to choose. Pretty sure it is just horrifically bad programming on their part. The longer the “sync” process takes the less time you have to choose.
