Photographs/Scottish liveries

I know from a distance the liveries all look the same but they are very different. These are my 3 favourite cars in the game so far. E21, F458 Risi and the Ford GT40 MkII.

Anyone wants a car with a Scottish livery let me know

Sorry… I forgot this was show and tell. I’ve done the show part here’s the tell…

I’m Scottish. My country is seriously under-represented in the world. We are mistaken for being a province/region/county within England. You can’t even select Scottish as a nationality on most websites. You have to pick ‘United Kingdom’ as a nationality. Even though ‘British’ would be more correct…

“We’re the lowest of the low… the scum of the [Mod edit - WSD, Alluding to profanity is not allowed on the forums] earth. The most wretched, miserable, servile, pathetic trash that was ever [Mod Edit - WSD, Profanity] into civilization…”

But god damn its a beautiful country!

I like beauty… and this games full of it. Prague says it all.

Hope you enjoy,

BaronVonBrannan

P.s. none of the above is intended as anti-English nor pro-independence, I agree to disagree with both and none!

Scotland ? that’s somewhere in Wales isn’t it ? Please keep the language family friendly.

Thanks

PS - You know the Scottish flags not navy blue ?

Sorry I did censor the profanity to a level I thought was acceptable by the terms of the forum. I’ll know better next time. It is a quote from a film after all.

And yes I know the Scottish flag isn’t navy blue. Neither is the blue on any of these cars but its the blue I like most

I assume had I not included the profanity your constructive criticism would have been more… constructive?

Baron

PS navy blue is the colour of your avatars top

lol, no you missed some and even what you did censor wasn’t censored enough. The colour of the top … yeah, I know, it was probably an American that did it but at least they got the flag right. As for the paints, they aren’t bad, but you want to move away from in game fonts and decals if you can, check out some of the other galleries to get an idea of what can be done and practise as much as you can as some of the liveries you will see here have been done by people who have had years of it.

Good start though and probably much better than my first attempt.

From looking at your gallery I would like opinion on the photography…

As for the comments again on the whole “getting the flag right” part I did state that the choice of blue was preferential, not lack of knowledge. I’m sorry it offends you.

The initial post was intended to be slightly satirical tbh, hence the trainspotting quote and the reference to websites not containing Scotland in drop down menus.

I’m sorry it didn’t come across that way.

Lets just forget the flag, I was joking anyway.

“From looking at your gallery I would like opinion on the photography… :-)” … what, you didn’t like my paints then ? :stuck_out_tongue: lol

As for the photos, they aren’t great. One of the reasons for that may be that your trying to show off the car AND the livery in the photos. When showing off a livery I find its best just to stick with full frame shots showing off the car from the front, side and back so that the livery is in plain view and nothings taking away from it. Where as if the car is the subject of the photo you don’t have to worry about the livery being in full view.

As with painting the photography takes practise, mess around with the sliders and work out what they all do, try different shots, mix up the angles and placement of the camera, most of all have fun and don’t worry too much about what people think … unless its me and Im telling you not to swear.

PS there are helpful guides sticked at the top of most of the sections of forums that contain helpful tips, for photography check out the media sections and for painting try the race and fantasy sections.
