What happened to the replay function? Since the photo mode update, we can not play a replay in free roam mode in slow motion or desired speed as weve previously been able to when getting footage to make video clips.
Can we get a fix on that… as creating content is what has keeped this game going for some of us!

Some of you may be aware of a photo mode “glitch” which was used for good.
This glitch allowed players to enter photo mode during rewind to have the ability to capture smooth cinematic videos of the moving forza world.
(EXAMPLE VIDEO OF CINEMATICS)
HOW TO ENTER LIVE FREECAM
enter an eventlab, drive around… then rewind, once you’ve rewound to where you want the clip you’d hold the accelerator button and press the photo mode camera icon, this would allow the world to play as usual while in a freecam mode.
This has now been patched so you can only enter photo mode in a static snapshot. Many community members rely on this “glitch” to create social media content across multiple platforms.
Photographers also use this so they can take photos inside of the car in the horizon world, additionally long exposure photos can be taken using this mode leaving light trails creating amazing unique photography.
I understand this is a “glitch” and isn’t officially a part of the game but over the years since FH5 has released it has become a widely used feature amongst content creators, I’m not sure if this patch was implemented knowingly or has been patched by accident.
Please can we have our live replay free cam back.

So I now have people telling me that this was marked as a BUG way back to FH3 and they decided to fix it…
You have FIXED a Bug/Feature of your game that allowed us to highlight the hard work and efforts of your modeling and texture teams and to show your community something that 99% of them WOULD NEVER SEE.
This doesn’t make any sense, please add this feature back.
- Glitch is a HARDWARE issued that sometimes happens but not all the time.
- Bug: is an error, flaw or fault in the design, development, or operation of computer software that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected

This “feature” is a huge part of the photography community. It allows us to get up close and personal to the car or object in focus. Or in my use of experimental shots in example my long exposure photos. All these photos I’ve added used this “feature” to achieve the picture.

Bring back that supposed glich or what you want call.
For devs maibe dont means nothing is just another error, but for us Forzatographers community is something important.
We created so much amazing with that.
Removing that is just taking away from us 1 important tool for our creativity.
In my case for example i created something i called TACHOTUESDAY

I just wanted to add that this feature(bug/glitch) should have never been “fixed.”
Unless that fix is to give us a way to take interior, close ups, and time lapse Forza photography.
While the new camera features that were recently added are great a great, there’s still more that I’d love to see!
Like giving us a way to record replays in co-op maps. Bring the weather slider to event lab maps. Allow us to open doors, hoods, and trunks while in any photo mode outside of the player home. Add in macro photography. Allow for lower and higher angles.
I still prefer the Forza camera mode over other games, but part of the reason was the ability to photo interiors with the “glitch.” See some examples below!

This “fix” has only reduced the amount of quality content people can create for social media promoting your game, Please reinstate it!

I hope that this subject gains enough attention so that PGG can do something about it.

Whoa, so there was a way to move camera freely inside cars and zoom on all those wonderful details under my nose all this time… and now it’s gone?

Yeah just isnt the same… no more free roam camera footage to make content with.
Please please please fix this! This was such a quality feature of this game for making awesome content with it.

Yeah this feature was very important to recording interior/moving shots! If its not returned as a glitch, at the very least OFFICIALLY add a FREECAM to replay mode.

There was only one way to make rolling car shots which eas through solo mode and had to use photo mode while progressing the reply but as of the photo mode update its gone. So please make something for us to make rolling shots and cinematics

This feature was amazing and of course it was accidental (Xbox is incapable of making such a fantastic feature) we need it back because it was being used for good.

Bring back the replay mode glitch. Not sure why you guys decided to patch that, but that was a lot of the communities greatest editing down the drain. Would be nice to have that back.

Unbelievable. The glitch/bug is one of the few reasons I kept playing this game. FH5 is beautiful but the photo mode, replay angles, and even the drone mode are more than lacking. This bug has improved Forza creator content by miles.
Please bring this back either as a bug again or as a full-fledged option.

For me as a YouTube-Content creator this “glitch/bug” was an ESSENTIAL part of my film making process. On my channel (Czaj Car Reviews) I present cars in something i would call a “Top Gear-ish style”. With humor but always informative 
(with subtitles in German, English and Polish). Anyway I often used this “glitch/bug” when it came to talk about the cars interior. Furthermore there are so many unique and beautiful cars in FH that aren’t in GT 7 (yet). So why remove a such fantastic way to express our love and passion for cars???
We demand to bring back the photomode glitch as soon as possible!!!
