Can we get a patch to take 4k photos like we used to be able to do in older games? This entire website got redesigned for the future but we only get 1920 x 1080 photos?

biggest we ever got was 1080, in order to get 4k photos you must be playing on a 4k display and then screen grab with xbox.

Right and why is this a thing now? I can still see my FM7 photos which are in 4k.

the fm7 photos arent 4k ? and its not a thing now, its always been the case

In FM7, they are in 4K but why is that gone for FH5?

That’s 1080p.

Both FM7 and FH5 run in 4k. In FM7 you can still take 4k photos. Why are the photos downsized with no option to get 4k in FH5?

Yeah I know, you were the one claiming that they were 4k, the only current way to get 4k as stated above is to screen capture. I assume file size and storage space limitations. Be nice to have the choice though even if it means less photos at a higher quality

It’s darned shame that they got rid of “Big Shot” feature.

Im seeing that and thats strange, no idea whats going on and how you managed to get a 4k photo. Ill have to check

The ‘Big shot’ feature from the older games just gave us the ability to take 1080 shots cause normal ones were even smaller. So the current gallery is all ‘big shots’

Sorry BTW, I was under the impression that all the photos were 1080, first time ive seen a 4k photo. Which system are you playing on ?

In FM7, it automatically is a 4k photo if you are on One X Enhanced edition or Series S / X.

Windsweptdragon, you can see why I am disappointed by such a simple feature not being in FH5. The game was built from ground up for 4k gameplay, not 1080p

Yeah, I understand now, thought everyone was only ever able to get 1080 photos from the site. Have passed it on though in the hope the 4k photos get added to horizon too.

Reinstalled Forza Horizon 4 to see if it had 4k photos. Last time I played it, I had a One X and the performance / fidelity mode toggle isn’t available on Series X. The photos are capped at 1080p. Is this a PGG limitation that Turn 10 didn’t have?
