It’s exactly the same as in Forza Apex. I haven’t played older Forzas but it’s pretty good. The differences I noticed between FH3 and FM7 photomodes are:
you can remove dirt/damage for a pic in FH3 (you can’t in FM7)
you can turn on/off the lights in FM7 (you can’t in FH3)
you can fly with camera further away from your car than in FH3
So apparently the shadows still tint depending on the settings…
How do you capture the photo? Is it using the DVR thing built into the console, or is it done through the game?
Also, how bad is the grain in the final image. If these are going to be 1080p images, that makes them useless to me. Sad really.
This game looks fantastic in the Photo mode, and to be honest, I see great potential for the images as top tier photomode on the market… but if we are talking about 2 megapixel photos, Its going backwards.
It’s back onto the fence for me until I can feel like dropping money on this game, will give me the images that we deserve from the 3rd Generation Forza motorsport on Xbox One…
Still trying to find out what the maximum Resolution is.
This is the dealbreaker for me. If it is STUCK at ScreenCap resolution of 1920x1080 .png… I am probably going to skip. If it changes with the Xbox One X, I will wait until then, 4K screen caps are usable for what I do with editing.
Otherwise, I can Wait until it is addressed in a patch, or at least FM8.
