I’m new to Forza not owning an Xbox and mostly loving the PC version of the game. I’d like to upload some decals to use in-game but can’t figure out how to go about it. I’ve check the xbox app, the forza hub and in game. Closest I’ve got is creating a vinyl group, but it doesn’t seem to have an option for me to upload my files. I can’t find a manual or anything. Can anyone help me out with instruction on how to upload a decal to the pc version of the game?
This isn’t a Forza feature. All logos and images are designed layer by layer using the shapes and colors within the game.
Oh…thanks for the info. Much respect for the decals makers having to go about it that way then! I’d think an ability to just upload a decal would make the process more effective and fun though.
Sadly it would open the floodgates for inappropriate material being uploaded to cars. Also as it stands all user created content is effectively fan art, created entirely in game, so doesn’t cause any licencing issues.
If you learn the editor, which can take time depending on your skill level/ artistic ability, it can be really rewarding to go I made this - knowing what you started with was a bunch of gradients and blocks and circles.
Have a dabble, you might enjoy it. Careful though, once you get in the livery editor, it can be hard to leave!

I’ll second the above. You’ll get out what you put in. Start with basic logos, maybe measure and translate them to the game…and before long, you’ll be spending nine hours on a license plate!!
