[PC] Game locks up then locks up my computer

Hi everyone.

I’ve been experiencing an issue where the game will flat out lock up, monitoring my CPU and RAM usage both stay in check around 8 gigs of 16 on RAM and about 20-50% CPU usage. Then when the game locks up, my entire computer locks up solid. This also happens intermittently when I quit the game (yes the right way, not just hitting the red X) where it goes into a background process and won’t go away. Sometimes it is corrected by trying to reopen the game, sometimes a full restart of the computer. It is very irritating, especially when it starts acting up after three or four consecutive races, or when you go from a race to say buy upgrades or paint. It also does it when trying to select cars sometimes too.

I tried upping the size of the pagefile as seen in another thread, but no dice. I am on the latest Windows 10 update, and Nvidia driver. I’m hoping for some insight, because I really do enjoy the game, when it works.

I have the same issue. As soon as the game start freezing, my PC is literaly dying and the only way to “unstuck” my PC is to force the power button to shut it down (sooo not the proper way…)
