Anyone else have issues with the game just closing to desktop randomly??? I know there is a memory leak and my game locks up / crashes when I am upgrading cars but this happens to me even in multiplayer lobbies and in the middle of a race
the same here (3770k , 1080 , 16 Gb Ram) , but only happen in multiplayer mode for me (random crash at loading screen , not during race)
It s very very annoying and I hope a patch soon
Yep, same for me, it crashes ALL the time in multiplayer, making it unplayable. The number of crashes reduced after the previous update, but the most recent update sent me back to square one. I can usually complete 1 multiplayer race then it crashes. And I get that fuzzy writing at the top of the screen when a race is about to start, just before the crash.
I hardly get any crashes in single player, but the inconsistent FPS is annoying when both my GPU and CPU are nowhere near full load.
Yeah I feel like when the new Nvidia driver came out and the patch last week came out my game was actually running pretty smooth other than the memory leak when upgrading a carā¦ Now my game crashes every like 10 minutes in multiplayer its so frustrating
Everything maxed out using native resolution (because ultrawide 3440x1440 life). The game loads into the menu fine, but once the race loads its CRASH CITY EVERY TIME!
Yeah, I just tried racing online for the first time, as they finally added hoppers that allow me to race my muscle cars in A-class. First race, about a lap and a half in on Road Atlanta in my Plymouth Fury, it crashed to desktop. Dunno if it was a memory leak or anything about that, but yeahā¦
Iām running an Asus G752VS with the I7-7820HK, GTX 1070, and 16GB RAM
Same here but only when tuning (memory leak) or playing multiplayer. In multiplayer, everything goes fine until the message āWaiting for other carsā¦ā appears. When that message happens, almost 75% of the times the game CTD
Why Turn10 is not updating the āKnown issuesā list with this top1 priority stuff?
Can you please report any crash issues to forzafb@microsoft.com. This way we can follow up appropriately and you can send over any logs required to investigate.
For all you drivers who are getting a crash to desktop at specific times while playing; have you checked your power settings? I discovered that FM7, sometimes, doesnāt pass power requests to Windows 10. Iāve had my monitor go to sleep and Windows go to a lock screen on several occasions. Mostly in MP. Now for me this didnāt result in a CTD just a crash into a wall. For others though it may very well crash FM7. Just something to look at.
