[PC] dxgmms2.sys BSOD

I had absolutely no problems for the first 80 hours of the game, and now I keep getting a Blue Screen Of Death caused by dxgmms2.sys (either “video memory management internal” or “system thread exception not handled”)

I have not installed any program since I got FH4, only Windows updates and I already did a clean install of the latest Nvidia drivers.
I ran sfc/scannow, it show no issues, ran dxdiag, it shows no error, ran Windows Memory Diagnostic, it’s fine.

I play the game with automatic detection, everything runs smoothly usually… Anyone has an idea?

PC specs:

i5 8500
GTX 1060 3GB
16 GB DDR4 2400 MHz

My friend and i are having the same exact issue, random bsod caused by dxgmms2.sys. Only happens with this game so i’m assuming its an issue with forza.

Yep.

When BSOD happens, it always happens within the first 10 minutes after launching the game.
When I launch the game and it doesn’t crash after 10 minutes, I know I can play for hours without any problems.
