I’ve actually been able to play through the demo once, but I am now not able to get past the car/race selection (even after rebooting and shutting down most other programs like Steam, Origin, etc.). At times, the game crashes after hitting enter at the start screen. When the game crashes, the screen goes black, but the music is still playing. In order to get the game to complete it’s crash, I have to either hit the Windows key or ALT TAB.
I am using an Xbox One controller via USB with a charge and play battery and a Logitech G700 mouse. I do have a Fanatec CSR wheel (driver 261 with firmware 756), but that was not hooked up at the time of the crashes (but the game crashes the same when the wheel is hooked up too).
I don’t know about anyone else. but this Cements my feelings about playing Xbox games on PC. its not worth it. maybe in a few years when they figure out all the kinks and bugs it might be. but right now. it is a nightmare.
i had enough with forza horizons 3. but at least i use to be able to play the demo.
why do they keep releasing stuff that does not work. makes me annoyed.
am tired of it. and they will lose when people lose confidence in there ability to release working games tried and tested, and give us what we pay for.

WHEN I TRY TO PAY THE DEMO. FORZA MOTORSPORT 7. I GET SOUND AND A BLACK SCREEN. THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN I GET A GREEN SCREEN AND IT STARTS TO FLASH FASTER AND FASTER AND FASTER AND THEN. BOOM. THE GAME CRASHES. AND THE SCREEN TURNS OFF. BACK TO DESKTOP. FABULOUS CODING FABULOUS.
No way on GODS GREEN EARTH WILL I GO THROUGH THIS NIGHTMARE AGAIN. THIS IS ONE FORZA GAME I WILL NOT BE BUYING. already paid for a working release of Project cars 2.
Can you provide your specs for the computer you’re experiencing this on? Also, can you confirm that all your drivers are fully up to date and you’re not running MSI Afterburner?
