Every few times I start the game it has forgotten its graphics settings. Seems to happen sometimes randomly, sometimes after driver updates. Pretty annoying. Would be great to see a fix.

Same issue, as well as controls not saving properly.
The issue mentioned here was also mentioned in the latest update release notes as being addressed. Is it still the case?
Yes, it still is the case, it also asks me to select default profile or custom graphics. Still a bug.
It happens every time you update your nvidia drivers i.e.
it is normal as far as you update them, the next time you launch it will happen
It is soooo annoying! Nearly every time i start the game i can reconfig everything. Horizon 3 has also this issue.
thankfully it does it a lot faster than H3 did, but it’s still something I hoped to lose when I started playing H4.
Are you guys overclocking your graphics? I was having the same problem and found that my game stopped doing that if I make sure the GPU clock speeds are the same every time the game starts up. Hasnt happened since.
I have this exact same issue. It seems to be happening pretty frequently, whether or not there was a patch or driver update for me. For example, I was playing earlier today and had changed the settings, and then I went to play again just now and once again my graphics settings had reset. I hadn’t even restarted my computer!
The strange thing is, every time it resets, it tries to set my resolution to 1920x1200, which is the resolution of my second monitor. My main is just the regular 1920x1080. Does anyone else have their computer hooked up to a second monitor, or a television maybe?

Same here. It’s seemingly at random, sometimes it’ll be fine for several sessions, sometimes it will forget settings 2 or 3 startups in a row. GTX 1080, not overclocking, haven’t updated graphics drivers since release day, and have experienced forgotten settings at least half a dozen times since release, most recently even after the last patch where it was claimed to be fixed (and not just the first run after patch). This problem has existed the entirety of FH3’s lifetime as well so I’m not optimistic it’ll ever truly be fixed.

For the past few days this problem seems to have stopped. If I experience it again I’ll post here. But it seems like this has at least been fixed for myself and one of my friends.
Same here, the latest patch made it worse it seems instead of fixing it.
Before it “only” asked to set my settings after a driver or game update, now it asks every time I reboot my PC or even wake it up from sleep…
This is once again happening every time I launch the game. Started again since the last update.
