So during the demo opening race you crash through Constable’s The Hay Wain. Are there any other famous paintings recreated in the game?

I’ve been wondering about that myself. If I see anything, I’ll post it here.

This is “The Cobbler’s Shop on the Bridge” by Lewis Pinhorn Wood from the late 19th century.

And here it is in game. It’s in Ambleside.

I don’t know if this really counts as a famous painting in the game. More a case of everything in England has been painted by someone already.

You’ll see the Hay Wain during some of the loading screens.

Sod the racing, I’m off to look for the paintings!
