When adding vinyls to my Subaru BRZ the vinyls don’t match the colour of the car even though the numbers are the same.
The numbers are 47, 100 saturation and 20 shade. They are off on both the front and back.
I’m playing on an Xbox series X

Yes, this issue has been since start… I would like see real fix or just confirmation that it is by design and will not fixed ever?
Issue: Paint and vinyl colors do not match, they have slight color difference and different gloss/reflection properties.
Perhaps it reflects reality but it is very annoying in game.
Pictures show issue pretty well…

Bug continues to live still even when they added slider for matte - glossy. Paint and vinyls glossiness DO NOT MATCH no matter what, it is always visible in some angle.
And there are odd jumps in glossiness at certain %… and some off vinyl edge artefacts in certain matte %
Update 9, this issue is still same… looks like it is not fixed ever… I really think devs or quality folks need to get new eyeclasses.
Update 10, vinyl vs paint glossiness still wrong/broken.
And note, corvette black trim is shaded pretty much grey…
Real photo of black trim:
Update 11, paint and vinyl glossiness difference is real eyesore… same standard black color for each and yet it looks like this! I can not believe it is not fixed yet…
Update 12… why I even continue this…
Bug is still very alive, vinyl and paint glossiness dont match.
And another one, vinyls on some paint create ugly outlines…
Update 13, nothing changed
Update…16…
Nothing changed, vinyl glossiness DOES NOT MATCH paint glossiness
Yeah would be nice to have this fixed at one point. Seems to have broken when they re-introduced the matte to gloss vinyl feature.
Update…20…
Nothing changed, vinyl glossiness DOES NOT MATCH paint glossiness
