Paid DLC cars not free in game?

Hi All,

From what I’ve read, when you download the DLC Car Packs you should be able to purchase them in game for free???

I have VIP & The Car Pass but still have to purchase them in game with in game credits.

Your help with this would be much appreciated.

No,go to your messages and download car from messages and it will be in your garage… Or open find cars and all the way to left will be free dlc available…

At any rate you dont have to buy in game… It is free…If I had game open I could tell you exactly but try what ai said above,im pretty close…

If that doesn’t work you could try a full power recycle - hold the white button on your console for about ten seconds then restart it sometime later.

The only cars that are in “Free DLC available” in find a car, are the free 1 (ie 2015 Nissan #23 GT-R LM NISMO) each month out of the pack. The others in the pack I can only get with in game credits. I’ve also tried power cycling the Xbox and delete/re-install the game and all addon’s.
I’m lost with this one…

so when you go into the "buy cars " section they arent in the “free cars” tab

also look on how to do a proper hard reset. Snowowl has explained it over and over again on many many post…it involves pulling out the power cable from the wall as well

No Talby, they’re not in the free tab. I’ll try what you suggest.

Did you buy and download the DLC on the same account you are using, or another one? Only the account it was downloaded on gets the cars free one time.

Only the account that purchased/downloaded the dlc gets the free cars one time only. After you have the free one any addition cars of the same make and model have to be purchased with in game credits. Any additional profiles on the xbox can use the dlc cars but they must all be purchased with in game credits they do not get the fee ones.

Here’s what I have to do. Go to the marketplace in game. Click on the car pack and purchase it. When you go to the xbox game page it will say you already own it and it will install. Restart the game and they should be in your free car list.
