ORECA 03 | 03R (2011 - 2016)
The Oreca 03 makes its first appearance in 2011 at the 12 Hours of Sebring.
The car went on to win several LMP2 categories, including the intercontinental Le Mans Cup and the Le Mans Series.
It was to become increasingly popular in Europe, although in 2014 it was to be seen in the USA, entered by the Muscle milk pickett racing team in the tudor united sportscar championship !
On several occasions, it will be entered by different teams in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, with several LMP2 class podiums, but never a winner.
In 2014, Oreca unveils a small upgrade for the Oreca 03 with a new “Le Mans” aerodynamic kit as well as an evolution to the bumper and rear of the car and becomes the Oreca 03R.
- Why have it on forza motorsport ?
I think Forza needs more open prototypes and race cars from the 2000s to 2015.
This would make an additional open prototype that would fit in well with the LMP2 category.
It’s also a car that’s rarely seen in video games, apart from one if I remember correctly.
