It’s been a while since I had really took the time to take shots in a Forza game. It’s Probably as far back as FM4 that I last posted my shots on these forums.

Bare with me, the work computer is so old my hosting site doesn’t support the browser…

As I was taking this shot, all I could think of was Outrun.

And my final shot from the early access weekend. Trying my hand at realism.

Suggestions for cars to use for shooting are welcomed. I have a tendancy to drive the same cars a lot.

Some of them seem over saturated, but it works in some of them.

This is the one that I like, and the colors make it interesting. It’s a good action shot.

I really like that one too, I spent ages just flying around the outback waiting for a contrasting blue in the sky. I was intentionally using over saturation for a whole day. I was going for a more vibrant feel to excentuate the sun and the red sand. You can really notice the difference between the GTR shots.

Thank you. I just wish so much detail wasn’t lost with increasing the shutter speed, my only disappointment with that shot is the motionless wheels

If you want to get more detail in a shot that features a car in motion, then it might be a good idea to decrease the shutter speed. Or move the camera a little bit from the car. But if you do this, then you will need to increase the camera zoom.

If you want to get more detail in a shot that features a car in motion, then it might be a good idea to decrease the shutter speed. Or move the camera a little bit from the car. But if you do this, then you will need to increase the camera zoom.

Yeah, it was the loss of road detail that made me slow the shutterspeed right down, but it makes the wheels stationary. It’s a trade off and I stumped for the road detail.

still lots of detail on the back end of the car towards the tail light, I like the water spray with the motionless wheels

Thanks man, I first tried to get that shot through a Lamborghini wing. I just couldn’t catch the right distances to frame the Ferrari properly, so that’s an opportunity I will be looking out for until the range is right.

So last night I had tonnes of fun playing with some off road vehicles and found some great shots while I was just messing around.

Then I went for a drive in the R8 just because it’s a joy to drive.

The finished off with a showcase…

Love it when the shot is just there.
The blue Raptor was a stroke of luck because it fell off a cliff and I just happened to pause as it was falling haha

Thanks man, this game has made me fall in love with photo mode again.
That blue Raptor in the first shot is falling off a cliff onto the beach, haha.
