When using Photo Mode, the result will be dependent not only on the quality setting of the Photo Mode itself, but also the graphical settings at which the game is running.
Especially on PC, this can lead to photos varying in visual quality depending on how the user has had to configure the game to run optimally on their system. As a result, photos taken at lower settings may show less detail and lower quality lighting and shading than ones taken at higher settings.
This potentially puts users with lower end systems at a disadvantage in creating photos that stand out.
As a workaround, there could be a server-side render that is fed all necessary information about the game conditions and then renders the photo at maximum visual quality. The user would be able to submit the photo for final rendering once they’re happy with the preview rendered client-side.
