Is there any way to race in the open airfield of test track, or T10 has deleted this variant from the free/test mode ?

I’m certain that all variants of the Airfield are still in the game. In its current state, however, the game lacks a way to reach them.

I believe the only way to access that track for the last two iterations has been in tag. I loved just messing around making videos in FM4 on the test track, just another thing removed for no benefit to anyone🤦‍♂️

It makes no sense for me that they have deleted many fictitious tracks they created and don’t have to pay any licenses for them. Great tracks in my opinion, and, as I’m reading through this forum, in the opinion of many players.

But I do not want to convert this thread on another, so if anyone knows if there is any way of getting into the open track, please show us!!

You could get to it in Test Drive, and possibly Free Play too in FM5 and FM6.

I miss the original forza test oval very high banks similar to the Porsche testing track in Germany at the center of the turn the car was riding on a wall. I think it was almost 5 miles long I might have to find the original and load it up again.

I would also love to see the snake tracks from FM2 back as well those tracks really helped to learn to drive the car.

In regards to your airfield test track question.
I have vip edition, i believe also the wouldnt take airfield out, pointless bad enough some of us have really nice cars but no multiplayer car class division lobbys, i have a 2013 ram runner forza edition, no if you look closely to the bonus that comes with driving vehicle it says 30%cr | +7500 at test track airfield, now i have looked through all tracks on free play, not there, weather it is something you unlock through campaign mode in forza cup or through a crate i dont know, but im sure there is a way to access this track, have a look if you dont believe me, i hope this finds useful for some of you.

There is a Test Track Circuit that you can drive on in freeplay. When selecting the track in freeplay under race setup, scroll almost all the way to the right of the track list and you’ll see it towards the end. Many people have been getting quick XP by using it there.

I am not happy that the full open test track is not in the game. If you go into your progress tab and scroll thoigh the track info for all the tracks the full open is listed in there but no idea how to use it. I really hope it gets put in soon as I really enjoy drifting around to test my tunes. please add this turn10. :grinning:

I just wanted to add to this thread & say that I too am looking forward to getting back on the open space. Please turn 10 bring it back!

I want the big highbanked oval from Forza 1 and 2 and all the snake tracks as well.

Yeah, please bring it back, it was a great place to test our cars in the previous games such as fm6

I want the single player option to access the open field test track too. So much to do and you can take some nice photos in it too.

You can. Under race setup go to game type and select test drive. Then you can select open space after selecting test track airfield (hit X when over it), and you can use all the old tracks from test drive. You can even do this in splitscreen. Hope this was helpful.
