The thing is that some accolades have unlocked for some players, while that same accolade may not unlock for other people for no apparent reason. Another example is the “reach the level 8 car” in Eliminator. I cannot unlock it but others have unlocked it…
For me Rally Monster accolade gets a tick after completion when I have it pinned. But the square in accolades section doesn’t turn yellow and remains white. When i restart the game, it remains incomplete.
I just unlocked it mostly from open racing. It popped after winning a B class race. I was driving the Celica SS-1.

I did it with a Custom Race Road and A Class. But i dont know if i did it with the Race or the event of 3 Races cause i won both in this Race
Boy I sure am happy I stumbled upon this comment. I tried earlier by winning playground games to no avail but I win one custom dirt race and voila!
Yeah… it even counts wins if you’re 1 of 1. So if you choose a particularly unpopular race type (B class cross country, or whatever the lowest class you can specify), sometimes you can get wins just be being the only person standing.

I can’t speak to how the game counts the 25 “wins” since I have most definitely won 25 playground games previously and it didn’t unlock, but since the accolade unlocked for me after a custom race, I would assume those are a safe bet

all of a sudden this one looks a lot easier, as noted, just pick unpopular races - thankfully, of all the race types, I’ve found I’m least bad at slow CC races!
