What is wrong with people??? When it comes to the team races against the AI cars, why do players purposely spin and dive bomb the other team mates???
All that matters is that the team beat the computer AI cars. It has got so much worse since new players came via Playstation. WHY??? WHY???
We are supposed to be on the same team to beat the AI cars. Fighting amongst the team is “LOSER” gameplay. I don’t know about others, but because of this poisonous, obnoxious behaviour, I get fed up having to do the championship 3 or 4 times to complete because of plain stupid imbeciles.

You can disable cross play in the privacy settings of the Xbox. Be aware it will disable all cross play for all games. PS5 gets a in game switch we don’t. 
Of course this was going to happen. It’s been bad for a while pretty much always. Even before the PS5 the last few playlists that gave new cars the behavior had been worse. Exacerbated by new players now. I would not it expect it to get better any time soon. I’m done with that stuff unless there’s a car to get. Hopefully there will not be any more new cars added.

I found this out today.Ive never bothered with online racing just because i didnt want to but bought gamepass ultimate and gave it a go.
In the Horizon tour i teamed up,in blue,with other players and right from the get go i had blue players constantly trying to ram me off.A few were good but a few spoil it for the rest.Anyway,it will come in handy to complete the playlist co-op races but i`m still not interested in online play.Never mind eh,as they say,worst things happen at sea.

Randoms ruin everything. It’s a law of the internet, written in stone. Yet devs keep pushing open matchmaking and destroying other avenues of gameplay because reasons.

I’v turned off crossplay in Xbox. It still matches me with PC players.

I’m the same but with the XBox. Really can’t be doing with the noobs on PS5 tbh.

there’s something about playing a stock car that I believe might help, I think it’s that the car’s pace is so different that a lot of corner-bomb pile-ups get missed

Agreed. Hence why I’ve knocked the crossplay option off. Newbie PS5 players aren’t going to help at this juncture if you want to get 2 out of 3 on a championship/trial race. That’s a given. I know it’s not their fault,but switching off the ‘crossplay’ option will help the PC & XBox-ers who haven’t yet got the 40 points for this revived season.
