Is this just another poorly worded title from IGN or is there validity here. Seems a little out there but who knows. Open the article and look at the headline and sub headline.
Forza Motorsport 5 gets free Nurburgring DLC now
Also coming to Forza Horizon 2.
He then mentions getting practice in for when horizon comes out. Does he mean practice on a long “road” course like an open world or is it going to be in Horizon as well.
Taking the logical approach there is no way the Nurburgring will be in Horzon 2. Location alone makes it highly unlikely. That being said, what else could he have possibly meant? Everything reasonable points to it not being included but his phrasing is so clear that its either in there or he simply lied. Very strange.
It must be nice to be able to throw fact into the wind and just make up things to generate interest in your site…And to the comment about Horizon not being a Forza Motorsport, I’m aware of this and didn’t refer to it as such. Regardless it would be cool if they threw a track in there that was close by so you could drive there and just hop on and do some laps. Ehh, something different. Pumped though, should be a solid game.
Probably a T10 or PGG rep said something among the lines of “yeah, the 'ring will be the best place to get some practise for all the twisty mountain passes and coastal roads we have in mind”, and the poor IGN bloke misunderstood.
IGN said that “the Nurburgring would get your practice in before Horizon 2 gets released later this year.” The open road will probably have some turns like the track, but I wouldn’t say that the track would really be in Horizon 2.
Disappointing, I was secretly hoping someone would have a confirmation of this from either an interview or something like that. Not complaining as I think we have a ton to look forward to. My ultimate hope is they have my 2010 SHO as more than a traffic car (it won’t be a traffic car in Europe regardless), but it would be a blast to drive my actual car through southern Europe.
Not nurburgring, but maybe real tracks in italy or france. Btw don’t forget guys, below Italy we find Malta. Would be an amazing hill climb spot right there Wouldn’t mind taking a MK1 Escort there!
Think I am with the others on here that think this is bull. IGN is known for posting misleading articles. I never take articles from IGN with much merit.
