Not Allowed Tune But

First of all sorry for my english.

A few days ago i was watching some replays at Lime Rock and the Drift Rivals challenge to improve my poor skills and try some other cars/tunes, so i watched an user positioned in the firt ten places in EU classification. I liked and i choosed download the tune for that car (Fiat 595 ´68), i was a little surprise when i read 415 kW or 420…can´t remember exactly but it was a little more than the maximum allowed for that challenge (410 kW).

Then i buy the car, install the tune and when i tried to choose the car for the challenge/event, obviously the car doesn´t appear in my garage/options because is not allowed.

I don´t want to say the name of the user or anything related because it could be interpreted as an acussing or cheat and i´m not sure if it could be a system error or whatever, but as much as i tried everything is ok and the tune used with that car and that user is not “legal”, or at least certainly benefit grant. But it should be checked by someone at T10 or moderation.

The drift done by this user is pretty good!!, i´m sure that he/she could do it the same with a different tune or less power but…i would like to know if the system has something wrong, or i am wrong or what i am missing in the case.

Salute.

Hello,

i have the same problem, i downloaded yesterday the tune and try to choose the car for the event and get the message that the car doesn`t authorized.
Today got a message from Turn 10 Community that my Gamertag is blocked for a week - i can not download from other user tunings and other by me.
Can i do anything so i unlocked my Gamertag earlier???

Looking at the replay and telemetry of the Fiat 595 ´68 I believe you’re speaking of (with a shared tune and a drift score of 38,538) in the US version, which has a max horsepower restriction of 550hp, the car never appears to put out more than 547hp, which is within restrictions. 550hp is roughly 410kW, so the restrictions look correct. When I download the same tune, it shows 556hp, 6 hp above restrictions, so your observation appears to be correct. It’s not off by much, but it is not identical.

It could be that the tune file used was somehow misreported by the game (and not the tune used for that leaderboard score) - we’ve seen similar misreported times / tunes issues on other leaderboards.

The replay, however, is more trustworthy - and it appears to be legitimate, and within the 500hp restrictions as far as I could tell by watching telemetry.

All rigth, thanks a lot for the quick response; i supoosed too, as you said, a misreported file or something…specially looking at the great drift he/she did, (I´m still over 32.000 points and envy this cool drifters and learn a lot).

In fact i´m use to speak in Hp isntead of kW, i´m spanish and here in EU we manage better with Hp. Anyway, thanks again for the clarification…1969…XD, i´m from that summer but still rockin´!! XD, just like that Bryan Adams song Summer of ´69.

Keep on racing!!

Salute.

Unfortunately, the #1 song the month I was born in 1969 was “Age of Aquarius”
