I tried several events across the map but not a single User created Blueprint will show up for any of the Exhibitions I checked. I tried a suggestion the creating your own will force a check but nothing seems to work, just my event and the generic Horizon one. Anyone else have this issue? Any advice? Any event I should check because it has several? I tried the forum search function but it keeps throwing errors.
There is an Xbox Live setting that basically says “can not play content created by other players”. It’s part of the privacy settings, you might want to check that.
The only setting I see like that is “You can see and share content” which is set to Everybody.
Also, I seem to remember being able to see bucket list challenges, but those are gone too. I haven’t changed any of my settings recently, so perhaps its a content server issue?
Hopefully once the regular release happens today things will go back to normal. I’ve had zero issues with the tune/paint storefront or the auction house (except for it being slow on occasion).
All 3 of those have resulted in me having connection issues with Forza and Neverwinter servers.
I suggest do a cold reboot and try again also after starting the game try to check your messages in game. If they fail there is a connection issue somewhere. Sometimes mine take around 5 minutes to connect ok.
I’d agree with you if it weren’t for the fact I get messages upon logging in, and I can use the Auction House, and Storefront for paints and tunes with zero issues.
I can only see stuff that my friends make, which unfortunately is one event blue print and zero bucket list blueprints.
I don’t know how difficult it would be but it would be nice if they just made them pop up by most popular like they do with paints when you buy a car, or maybe that is how it is supposed to work?
I too have this issue, and it has persisted for at least 3 days now (the Standard edition has gone live in the meantime).
At first I suspected it was because I had an ongoing player made Blueprint “Championship” on the backburner… I completed that last night, thinking it’d “free up” Blueprint mode, but nope…
I then fired the game up on PC in case the glitch is Xbox exclusive. Nope, appears to be persistent with my account.
I do have to drive out west and build the final Festival site, so perhaps that’s what’s triggering it (I was holding off - saving the best for last
The only two things I can think that have changed since blueprints worked for me are:
Installing and playing on PC
Joining a club (with approx 200 members, so even if I only see blueprints made by fellow club members, surely I’d have seen something by now…)
I will try a few more troubleshooting steps this evening (like building that final Festival) and report my findings.
I am playing for almost a week and I did not see any blueprints from other users yet.
I don’t know if I did set some settings which is preventing this, but I checked the options menu and I don’t see anything which can causing this.
It may be that only events created by Friends show up here. Try coordinating with some friends to see if you can create one that they see and vice versa.
If that’s so, it’s quite a useless functionality for me as none of my friends play Forza Horizon. Creating your own blueprint is a fantastic feature, but it is somewhat weird you can’t access other people’s creations if they are not in your friendslist.
I always get to see the paintjobs of people who are not in my friendslist (although I rarely use paintjobs). It seems more like a bug (or server problems and they disabled it) than it is a feature (I do get that you should see the ones your friends made first, but you should be able to at least search for blueprints imo). Also, it could show the blueprints of the club you are in or something (especially with the achievements attached to it, this seems like an oversight imo).
That seems to be a conclusion a few people are coming to, but it sounds like it used to be the entire userbase and not just friends, also it really should be the community.
