Unfortunately, the Rocket Bunny/Greddy body kit is most likely out of the game.
In the video in the preview build, their body kit is not available for any car. Also, their decals have been removed from the list of manufacturer decals in the livery editor.
Some cars such as BMW M3 E46 and Mazda RX-7 FD have other brand new wide body kits instead.
However, there are many cars such as the Toyota 86 and Nissan 350Z that do not have such parts and have lost their wide body kits.
Only thing that was locked for them was the rest of the story and the livery editor, they had access to everything else for 1 week only, if they wanted cars they had to do the same race over and over to get the cash for them or win them in wheel spins
Unfortunately, I had to realize that Pandem/Rocket Bunny kits are not in the game… I tried to build Mad Mike’s RX7 with the Boss kit in FH5 yesterday and was shocked to see, that Rocket Bunny kits are gone. Honestly, I love the game and all Forza games… But if i had known this, I probably would not have spent the extra money for the early access VIP stuff.
Forgive me if this has been asked before, but why no Rocket Bunnies in the game? Sort of gutted that my go-tos (S14 and Z33) don’t have these kits anymore.
Now, I’m sure you made this statement as a sarcastic dig at them, but the lack of wide body kits causes major problems not only visually, but also for performance.
As a result of the removal of the Rocket Bunny body kit in FH5, many cars no longer have a wide body kit.
What does this mean? It limits the tire size.
It is difficult to withstand higher speeds and more power with smaller tires.
So when FH5 builds cars like the Subaru BRZ and Mazda MX-5 into higher classes, it becomes difficult to make them have a good balance of overall performance.
Also, the sudden loss of the body kit is a blow to the painter.
The Rocket Bunny kit was a popular real life body kit, and for some cars, the only aftermarket visual customization part.
Therefore, many creators had designed their livery to match this body kit.
This change is close to losing that livery for them, and the act of fix them to fit the stock body will require more time and effort than you expect.
Trolling reply to other players is not a very commendable act in itself, but I hope you’ll remember that the removal of the body kit may not be as small a problem for other players as you think it is for you.
I wasn’t trolling, it just didn’t make sense to me as to how it could ruin the game. You’ve done a good job of explaining why some people have an issue with it since I didn’t realize tire sizes were affected since I rarely put wide-bodies on my cars.
I can believe rocket bunny is out of the game.
I would gladly paid 10$ more for the game to have my bunnys there. So many favorites cars gooooone and not replaced by something better. Some things u just leave alone. Negative cudos to the devolopers
Do you people not understand how licensing works? The fact that the Rocket Bunny stuff isn’t in the game has less connection to the devs than some people in these forums have to reality. They aren’t here because the people who own the IP didn’t want it here. End of story.
Jokes aside, the point is know the reason, you are just assuming that “they dont want” is the reason, and for all those vehicles that now have missing RB body kits, well… then add replacements if RB is never going to come back. Even more… just add more body parts and wide kits for more vehicles. Customization is important, this is not Motorsport, its horizon, they could even ask T10 for some body kits from FM7, they asked for that since FH4 xd
Then they could have come out clean with the information. They had plenty chances in their lets’go episodes. Honesty… It might be that Pandem/ Rocket bunny has lisence their produkts exclusive for another game or just does not want it in the game, but then Playground Games could share this information so my anger/ disappointment was channeled the right direction. Information…
That isn’t how it works. Your feelings are irrelevant, and entirely under your control. If you can’t stop behaving like a spoilt brat, then that’s a you problem. Business relationships are often tenuous things, and both sides tend to keep the details of those relationships to themselves. Firstly, and mostly, because it’s none of your god damn business, and secondly because it could jeopardise any future deals.
No my feelings is not irrelevant, it’s those feelings that makes me wanna buy a game and/ or continue to buy the next generation Forza. Yes I’m spoiled, living in a developed country, had both my covid vaccine, bought a new Xbox series x and a new monitor so I would fully enjoy FH5 so YES I’m spoiled, but brat… Yes my feelings is entirely under my control, but hide them on a forum for this specific game when I’m disappointed over the devs who has done a (in my view) poor job of the game as of this time. My hopes are
still that they BRING BACK MY ROCKET BUNNYS! This is a car game where you can paint, customize, tweak your car. And for me some of the coolest cars in Forza is cars with widebody kits and many of the cooooolest cars was the one’s with the Rocket Bunny kit. And they have been with me from FH3 and in the two previous games I’ve painted, made decals to perfection so I had my own Mad Mike’s RX-7 and the same for almost every bunny in the game. So this is me… and if u would be happy with a FH5 with only Lada’s that’s You. Guess we’re different you and me…
Your feelings ARE irrelevant. I know that sounds harsh, and I guess in a way it is, but it’s still true and you really, REALLY need to understand that. The number of people who wouldn’t buy this game just for the sake of one missing body kit would amount to less than nothing, statistically speaking, and from the developers point of view your lost sale is, literally, utterly irrelevant. As I also said elsewhere, they might not be ABLE to say anything, depending on how their contracts work, so making demands and stamping your feet is nothing more than a sure fire way of ensuring that no-one ever takes you seriously.
I wish they would just make up some bodykits, like need for speed did. No need to be actual licenced products or anything, just give us some customization. Stock cars are super boring to play with. And how come we still have cars where you can’t even space out the wheels? How is that still a thing?
