No Portal Axels On The Unimog

From the pic from gamescom it look like the Unimog doesnt have portal axles. That sucks its one of the best thing about that truck. Anyone know anything? Say it aint so lol. Exploiting my obscure knowledge of cars and/or using cars most ppl wouldnt think of being fast is how i win online lol and from that point of view this is a major missed chance for me. Although credit where its due they have given us a fair few weird cars this time round, for example i see a lot of onine racing truks and semi’s in my future.

Well… now I know what a portal axle is… Thanks, Google!

Watch out…talking about leaked content gets everything deleted because you know, freedom of speech isn’t allowed and all that…

The Unimog screenshot came from Gamescom, I highly doubt it’s leaked.

Also, freedom of speech doesn’t exist on a privately owned and run forum.

You have a very loose understanding of the 1st amendment.

Always good to point out flaws in 3d models, it’s the quickest way to get them fixed. I recall forum users finding some flaw in an early Ferrari Enzo screenshot in FM3, I think, which was later fixed. It can happen even to less obscure cars.

I didn’t watch gamescom but the truck in this image has at least a front portal axle.

Thats the pic im talking about, how has that got portal axles? The axle is in the middle of the wheel not the top?

Also the 1st amendment protects you from the goverment, no one else.

Edit: my bad, it was a small pic i saw and i must the weird angle made it look like there was axle a suspension stuff hanging under the skid plate at the front. It does seem that it has some kinda tie rod set much lower than pics i can find of the real thing. From what i can see there is no rod conecting the bottom of the wheel hubs on the real thing. Nothing on the underside is lower than the skid plates which is kinda the whole point of portal axles. I wonder what class it will be…
