Rather odd considering we’ve seen the fine print in this promo clip say otherwise (photo courtesy of ManteoMax):
I don’t know, guys and gals. I’m hopeful that Mr. Fulton is saying this to get people to commit to a copy today with the understanding that the unveiling of a LCE would only result in order upgrades. Then again, he did take the time to respond ‘no’ where he could have easily just avoided the question. Interesting.
I’m fine with not having a LCE this time. Horizon 1’s and Forza 5’s weren’t very good anyways. Probably just going to pick up the Digital copy of this game, hopefully I can pre-order on my Xbox One by then.
Im still holding out hope, ill probably pre-order the day one edition in a week or so at EB games Aus ( 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4 Superleggera) and upgrade to the LCE if and when it is announced. Kind of sad, I have all the LCE editions since forza 3.
They probably put that in the fine print to keep open the possibility of a LCE if they decide/are able to do one. They deny it now but if all the cogs turn correctly and they’re able to release one then they wouldn’t want people making a fuss about fine print exclusions later on.
Either that or whoever put together the text used the last iteration as a source to help write this one and didn’t think to take that out.
If you watch the latest video out in the News Article from a couple of days ago you will notice the fine print has now changes and omits any mention of LCE…
well if there isn’t an LCE, I’ll survive, as I am sure everyone else will too. And we’ll all have an extra $20 in our pockets. Nothing wrong with that at all.
I’m still hoping for a LE version to be released. I have pre-ordered my copy.
Down under retailers: EBGames has the Gallardo and JB HiFI has the BMW M6 Coupe. Haven’t seen any other retailers, but I didn’t look far, the Gallardo is good enough.
