During the past week I finished roughly 20 Forzathon Live Events and for aprox. 30% of all the events I didn’t get any points. I tried to figure the reason for it (used another car, didn’t change the car while the event is running and so on…) - but I can’t find the reason. It’s so annoying and I’m not the only one. Found 2 other players (reddit posts) with the same issue.
Does any one else have this problem and/or maybe is there any fix?
Same here. Not often but it does happen. Last time it happened just tonight I was in the event from the beginning but in the 3rd trial got stuck on some rocks to I did fast travel to the road next to me. When the event ended I saw the message about event registration already ended and then checked my points and noticed they didn’t increase. Am pretty sure it has happened before without using fast travel but not sure. But seeing that not registered message at end pretty much will mean no points.
Must be a problem with your game/xbox registering on the FH4 servers.
I regularly change cars during the forzathon (speed or drifting car) and fast travel back up the hills on the jumps and always get my points.
Try finding a new Horizon session and checking you’re logged into it ok before the next forzathon starts.
I’m having a similar issue however I am actually losing points. Just did 2 of the live events and my total reduced by 100 instead of going up 100. What is going on

I just completed one and confirmed that I did receive the points. In the past I know I’ve not received them without participating, ie driving through the circle while doing other things in free roam, or if I had to pause to handle something in real life. I know it doesn’t help much. Maybe enter a support ticket?
100 points is 5 rounds complete out of 6 for 2 events.

Bulldogs, Re the live events, maybe start checking before and after to confirm each time? I have so many at this point that I don’t pay attention to it changing. I only attend these days to help out or drift.
I just did one too and I’m getting points. I’ve tried staying in the same car, fast travelling and switching cars too.
I’m a slave to the Forzathon Live grind and check my points when I’m done like it was real money in my pocket and haven’t had this happen yet.
I’ve been fast traveling to the initial site ever since I unlocked free fast travel, and usually switch cars at least once during the event (I lover my RS200 Hoonigan but the FXX E is way faster on fast speed traps and I need a dedicated drift car to drift at all, so Formula Drift Viper for anything drifty).
Last night on the first one I did there was only three of us but the other two drivers were pretty good and we got our 60 points with minutes to spare. The rest of the ones I did we had PLENTY of participants (we still did one that failed on the third round and we only got 40, but I think I was the only one in the group that understood how to get skill points at the railyard. Just drift and knock stuff over with the RS200 until the skill multiplier reaches 7x, stop and let the points add up, rinse and repeat. They kept trying to do the jump over and over again.)
Yeah when that #Live counter pops up I stop everything and jump in my Porsche 906 
for me its the closest you can get to a 599XX E/Hooni RS200 hybrid.
